Polarion Architect
Description
We are seeking a Polarion Architect to add to our Product Development team. This individual will act as the subject matter expert for our Polarion product while we continue our digital transformation journey across Molex.
This role is open to remote/ work from home candidates.
Job Description
- Analyze, architect, develop and implement ALM strategy to aid in improved product development processes. Including:
- Develop process and value stream maps; write and test business cases. Analyze functional product development requirements and translate these to ALM system requirements.
- Develop sustainable ALM system solutions, by configuring and modelling of the global, enterprise wide Polarion system.
- Knowledge of implementation for common integrations.
- Implementation, testing and validation of designs and solutions.
- Responsible for technical mentoring of other Polarion engineers.
- 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and leading the integration of Polarion
- Experience with overall Digital Factory eco-systems, e.g. PLM, ERP, Logistics, ALM, MES etc.
- Broad end-to-end knowledge of the product development lifecycle processes from different perspectives: operator, quality engineering, quality assurance, logistics, etc.
- Experience partnering with stakeholders/business to gather requirements and turn the requirements into technical reality

CPOSITION NAME:– Senior Test Automation Developer
LOCATION: India
REPORTS TO: ALM Manager
CONTACTS: Internal customers and IT teams, up to Sr. level management. Exchanges engineering, user, and proprietary information.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Design and maintain automated tests for the Molex product development ecosystem. Drive development and implementation of standard test frameworks and methodologies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated tests for complex enterprise-level business applications and integrations used by Molex product development teams.
- Work directly with Molex development teams and the user community to refine tests and test plans. Guide teams on where test automation creates value and where it does not from defined test plans.
- Embrace and promote DevOps concepts and culture within Molex through test automation. Challenge existing testing processes and assist teams in adoption of modern concepts to improve application quality, user experience, and ensure timely delivery of software updates.
- Develop technical system guides, training plans, and related documentation for global development and QA teams.
- Other duties as required by management.
SCOPE: Works individually and with minimal supervision.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in information systems, software development, or related IT fields
- 3+ years of experience in software testing using modern methodologies and technologies

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Develop and deploy integrations, extensions, configurations, and customizations for Polarion and other application lifecycle management systems
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and deploy configurations, extensions, and customizations for Polarion and application lifecycle management ecosystem.
- Design and implement solutions for data migration between Polarion and other Molex engineering systems.
- Create technical system guides, training plans, and related documentation.
- Embrace use of DevOps concepts throughout development process. Be willing to challenge existing processes and assist teams in adoption of modern concepts to improve application quality, user experience, and ensure timely delivery of software updates.
- Other duties as required by management.

EDUCATION: B.S. Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
